If you are a fan of IHOG’s (Interactive Hidden Object Games) or “Adventure Lite” games, and haven’t played any of these games yet, this collection is a great buy at $9.99 for all four games. The four games are:
Empress of the Deep
Escape the Museum 2
Mirror Mysteries
Princess Isabella: A Witch’s Curse

One advantage of this collection is that you don’t need to put the DVD in your computer’s DVD drive every time you play. You only need the DVD to install the games and then you can put it away.
The disadvantage of this collection is that you don’t get to choose which of the four games you want to install. The installer automatically installs all four. At least that’s what it does on a Windows computer. We haven’t tested it on a Mac.
We’ve played the games in this collection in Windows XP SP3 and in 32-bit Vista. We don’t know how well the versions included in this collection work with Windows 7 or on a Mac. According to the back of the case you need:
OS: Windows 2000/XP/Vista
CPU: 800 MHz
RAM: 128 MB
DirectX: 6.0
Hard Drive: 101 MB
DVD drive
And for a Mac they list:
OS: Mac OSX
CPU: G3 400 MHz
RAM: 128 MB
DVD drive
but I think these requirements are bogus — especially the ones for the Mac. The requirements listed on the Big Fish website are probably more realistic if you want a decent playing experience:

|It is NOT LINUX compatible,
I purchased it to run on a Linux PC. However, it will not run on Linux. I contacted both companies on the package and the both confirmed it is NOT LINUX compatible. Upon notifying Amazon about this issue, the response I received was a total lie. They stated they looked into it and it was Linux compatible. This tells me they did not look into it at all. Don’t buy it if you want it to run on Linux.

|Review of Hidden Object Games,
I purchased this set of 4 games in one CD as a first to see if I liked this kinds of games. I love this CD and have been really well pleased with playing it. It was well worth the nominal fee for the CD.
